About RoshiRoss Studio
From the Persian Empire, born and raised in Kurdistan, Roshi has developed a genuine passion about Art, Fashion and Sport. Since an early age, she was dreaming about becoming a Fashion Stylist and Fitness Professional. Roshi has always enjoyed experiencing any kind of sport activities like swimming, basketball, etc.
To follow her dream, she decided in 1992 to move to Spain to become Certified as a Fashion Stylist by one of the best International Hairstylists, Louis LLongeras (Barcelona). Looking for adventure, Roshi moved to Canada in 1994 where she has been passionately working for the Fashion Inustry, and where she was professionally rewarded with her participation to the Canadian L'Oreal competition (Provincial & National) by winning several prestigious Awards as Best Fashion Stylist and Cosmetologist.
After the joys and challenges of back-to-back babies, Roshi finally discovered in 2001 the benefits of Pilates that quickly reformed, reshaped and toned her body. Then she achieved her Certification as Pilates Teacher from STOTT Pilates (Toronto) and become owner of Exhales Pilates in Montreal and RoshiRoss Studio in Dubai, where she has been enjoying and teaching Pilates for the past 15 years. Always complementing her Fitness knowledge with the lastest sport trends, she become a Master Certified by Robbert Boekema, Founder of DISQ (Amsterdam) who developed what they call the "Mobile Gym'.
Pilates is a physical fitness system that was developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. Pilates was formed by Joe during the First World War with the intention to improve the rehabilitation programme for casualties. During this period, Pilates was designed to aid injured soldiers in regaining their health by strengthening, stretching, and stabilising key muscles. Joseph used to say: ‘When I am dead, they’ll say “He was right”. I’m fifty years ahead of my time’. And he was!
- • A system of exercises using special apparatus, designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, and posture, and enhance mental awareness.
- • It can dramatically transform the way your body looks, feels and performs.
- • Pilates builds strength without excess bulk and a flat abdomen. (Yeah, we know – who doesn’t want that?).
- • It can even help alleviate back pain.
No matter what your age or condition is, it will work for you.
