About Piloga Studio- Pilates

Piloga is the first Pilates studio in Dubai and the Middle East & Gulf Region to offer the Fletcher Pilates movement syllabi, including Fletcher Towelwork, Fletcher Floorwork, and Fletcher Spine Corrector. Piloga is dedicated to excellence in Pilates instruction and personal attention for each student in every class. Your Fletcher Pilates experience will challenge you to move in new ways, increasing strength, flexibility, balance, and grace.

1. Group Mat classes: are recommended for those who like the social aspect of a class environment and who can commit to a scheduled time each week.

2. Pilates Mat: Fletcher Pilates Matwork is based on correct alignment, balance and precise initiation and spinal articulation – foundational concepts and principles of the Pilates method.

3. HIIT: Let’s go back to basics with some straight up aerobics! You heart rate won’t stop beating during this fun and energetic class! Jumping, lunging, squatting, running and more!

4. Pre-natal : A class specially designed for Piloga’s mums to be focusing on preparing the body for birth and relieve the discomforts of pregnancy.

5. Reformer Classes: use the Ron Fletcher Reformer to deliver a high energy workout that offers resistance and support taking your body to the next level.

6. Reformer Prep: This is an introductory class for those new to reformer classes, which are conducted on the traditional Pilates reformer using spring-loaded resistance.

7. Athletic Reformer (Level 2&3): Designed to make you sweat, tone, and burn, the athletic reformer class is specific for individuals who are familiar with the reformer equipment and want to take their workout up a notch!

8. Pilates Reformer (Level 1): In small groups of 4, students receive personalized attention while being lead through a workout designed to challenge endurance, flexibility and overall strength.

9. Private or Semi-Private Sessions: Focus on your technique and see faster results with one-on-one attention that results in a customized fitness program designed to create strength, flexibility, and vitality.

About Pilates

Pilates is a physical fitness system that was developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. Pilates was formed by Joe during the First World War with the intention to improve the rehabilitation programme for casualties. During this period, Pilates was designed to aid injured soldiers in regaining their health by strengthening, stretching, and stabilising key muscles. Joseph used to say: ‘When I am dead, they’ll say “He was right”. I’m fifty years ahead of my time’. And he was!
